SF SERVICE GUIDE
SF Service Guide is an online directory of human services, launched in 2019, currently serving 10,000+ monthly users. The guide includes 1800+ services and 500+ organizations, including access to food, job training and mental healthcare.
We work with government, non-profit partners, and volunteers to keep the guide accurate and up-to-date. We need approximately $200,000 a year to maintain and expand the guide to best serve the needs of our community.
SHELTERCONNECT
ShelterConnect provides free WiFi and internet acccess to people at temporary shelters, resource centers, and permanent housing (SRO or other community homes) for those formerly unhoused.
Each ShelterConnect project is fully funded by our donors and in kind donations from our partners.
$12,000 enables us to add WiFi and free high speed internet access to a building for 5 years.
COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES
ShelterTech's Community Representatives have experienced homelessness and other forms of insecurity. They engage with volunteers, build program awareness among our intended user population, and provide insights for our programs and products.
This program costs approximately $30,000 a year to run at an optimal level.
